Mahfuza Begum

Mahfuza Beauty is an artist, art teacher, writer, and curator of the international artist group ‘Jim Matthew Art Network. She is also a member of Bangladesh Charushilpi Sangsad, Blue Line Gallery in Roseville, CA, USA, and Aceart gallery and MAWA (Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

In 1997, she completed her master’s degree in fine arts (painting) from Chittagong University. Mahfuza participated in a four-month, one-on-one mentorship program with Canadian artist and visual art professor Leesa Streifler from the University of Regina. Additionally, she was a visiting art instructor at the Forum Art Centre, located at 120 Eugenie St., Winnipeg, MB, Canada, for a one-month summer art camp from July 2022 to 2023.

As a curator, she organized four international art exhibitions in Bangladesh, India, and Los Angeles, USA. Mahfuza has exhibited her work in numerous countries, including Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Japan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Indonesia, Germany, the USA, and Canada. She has received numerous national and international awards.
