Dr. Abeer Abdullah Taleb Al-Kandari, born in Kuwait in 1968, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art Education at the Basic Education College, Public Authority for Applied Education and Training. She earned her Ph.D. in Art Education – Curriculum & Instruction from Helwan University, Egypt, in 2010.

A prominent figure in Kuwait’s art scene, Dr. Al-Kandari is an active member of the Kuwait Society for Fine Arts, the International Association of Art (Paris), the Asian Handicrafts Association, and the Artists and Media Syndicate. Her artistic journey includes participation in numerous exhibitions across Kuwait, Egypt, Lebanon, Bahrain, France, and Spain, with her work also featured at significant cultural events such as the Qurain Cultural Festival and the Al-Kharafi International Biennale.
