SDG 11 : Sustainable Cities and Communities

Amira Ashkanani Amira Ashkanani has served as an Art Education Supervisor since 2008 and is an active member of the Kuwait Art Association, the International Association of Art (UNESCO, 2005), and the GCC Fine Arts Associations Union (2005). She was a Board Member of the Kuwaiti Society of Fine Arts (2015–2023) and Secretary (2022–2023). Ashkanani held three solo exhibitions (2009, 2011, 2019) and a cultural evening for her book release (2016). Her accolades include the Amir Abdulredha Award (2008), multiple His Highness Awards (2013–2019), Sheikha Futooh Al Sabah Award, Sheikha Salwa Al Sabah Award, and numerous national and regional art prizes.
