Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Meli entered the fray of the arts since her secondary school days in Eden Collège where she was drawn to the subjects of art and fashion. Later on, to improve her knowledge in art, she embarked on her own business, “Meli art”, selling craft products. In further pursuit, Meli took up a diploma course in art practice at the Fashion and Design Institute, where she learned various other techniques such as printmaking, digital art, conceptual painting, and even soil painting. She was also awarded an internship opportunity at Patten College to develop her techniques and apply them in her teachings. From 2019 to 2021, Meli was a participant in the NPCS art project conducted by the fashion and design Institute; she was also the Winner of the Environmental Day art poster competition organised by the MIE in 2021.
