Nelisa Nela Baždar, born in Sarajevo in 1986, is a multidisciplinary visual artist and educator. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2011, specializing in Graphics. Nelisa has held several solo exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, and participated in numerous international and domestic group shows, art colonies, workshops, festivals, and biennials.
Notably, she collaborated with Bosnian fashion designer Amela Radan on fashion shows at Fashion Week in Novi Sad and Budapest in 2015. From 2007 to 2013, she worked with international artists during the Sarajevo Winter Festival, enriching her artistic practice. Nelisa has also taught art in primary schools and at the Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children and Youth in Sarajevo. A member of several artistic and cultural associations, she actively contributes to art and interfaith initiatives. In 2018, she earned recognition as a prominent independent artist of Sarajevo Canton.
