SDG 13 : Climate Action

I am Djana Chapuis, a Russian-French fine artist and professional scuba instructor based in Kuwait for the past 13 years. My artistic practice merges creativity with environmental advocacy, as I paint underwater while diving, capturing the vibrant marine life and fragile ecosystems of the Persian Gulf. Each work is both a celebration of oceanic beauty and a call to protect our endangered seas. My art transforms into a visual dialogue on nature’s delicate balance and humanity’s impact. Exhibitions include: French Cultural Center Kuwait (2017), Frejus France (2018), Salwa Sabah Center (2019), Esthetic Center (2021–2024), and French Cultural Institute Kuwait (2024–2025).
