Bénédicte Joland-Chazelle is a French painter and psychomotor therapist who combines her dual passions in her artistic practice. Trained in France and Italy, she specializes in oil and acrylic painting, mastering various techniques. As a member of the collective Féminin Pluriel, she has exhibited alongside prominent UAE artists and held a solo show at Dubai’s Alliance Française gallery in 2023.

Bénédicte’s work explores the interplay between body, emotions, perception, and creativity, inspired by her therapeutic background. She captures the quiet beauty of cities and the profound presence of nature, often depicting Dubai’s palm trees with vibrant colors and bringing trees to life through her Nymphs series, inspired by Greek mythology.

Her recent work, The Rear Mirror Collection – I’ll Be Back, reflects on how emotions shape memories over time. In the past three years, she has participated in over 13 exhibitions, including at Dubai World Expo’s French Pavilion and the Sorbonne Abu Dhabi.
