SDG 17 : Partnerships for the Goals

Azra Subašić, born in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 1987, graduated with a BA in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2011. She received a scholarship from the Government of the Republic of Turkey and completed her postgraduate studies at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul in 2016. Azra currently works as an art teacher in both middle and high schools and holds a certificate in Art Therapy from Istanbul University. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions and currently resides in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Azra is passionate about supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as an artist and teacher. She particularly advocates for Quality Education, believing that everyone, regardless of socio-economic background, deserves access to quality education to improve their lives and future opportunities. Through her teaching, she strives to empower the younger generation, fostering their growth and potential
