SDG 16 : Peace Justice and Strong Institutions

Nelisa Nela Baždar was born in Sarajevo. She graduated from the University Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2011, specializing in Teaching Graphics. Nelisa has held several solo exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia and participated in numerous domestic and international group exhibitions. She has also been involved in various art colonies, workshops, festivals, and biennials. Nelisa collaborated with Bosnian fashion designer Amela Radan, organizing two fashion shows at Fashion Week in Novi Sad and Budapest in 2015.

Nelisa is a member of the International Multireligious and Intercultural Center (IMIC) in Sarajevo, Cultural and Artistic Society ‘Široka staza’ in Zemun, the Association of Fine Artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ULUBiH), In 2020, she founded the unique fashion brand Sito&Resheto – Wearable Art, creating unique women’s clothing from her textile-printed artwork. In 2018, she achieved the status of a prominent independent artist of the Sarajevo Canton. Nelisa’s desire to support the SDGs stems from shared goals of nature conservation and collaborative empowerment of local and international artists through dialogue and idea exchange.
