Anja Falk is a German-born, self-taught artist whose expressive abstract paintings are deeply inspired by her lifelong connection to nature. Born in 1979 in rural East Germany, her early years surrounded by fields and forests continue to influence her work. After moving to Hamburg, her passion for drawing grew, though she initially pursued law in Kiel.

A transformative year in South Africa reignited her creative drive, leading her to discover India during an internship at the German Embassy in New Delhi in 2006. Captivated by India’s vibrant colors and textures, she eventually made Delhi her home. Balancing motherhood after her marriage in 2012, Anja painted whenever possible, infusing her work with the energy of her surroundings. Following a life transition in 2022, she now paints full-time, often outdoors in Delhi’s forests. Guided by intuition and emotion, her art celebrates life, freedom, and the dialogue between nature and the soul.
