SDG 5: Gender Equality

Aleksandra Kostic, born in 1989, graduated from the design school and Faculty of Art in Nis, specializing in graphic design. She holds the title of applied master artist and is equally engaged in painting. Aleksandra has participated in several exhibitions and held three solo shows. Her passion for travel has led her to sail around the world four times, working as an artist for a renowned cruise company and visiting over 100 countries. Currently, she lives in Belgrade and works in her city center studio.

Supporting the SDGs as an artist provides a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to global progress. The SDGs encourage innovative solutions to complex problems, and artists, as creative thinkers and problem-solvers, can inspire new artistic expressions and projects that address these goals. By engaging with the SDGs, Aleksandra aims to contribute to a culture of sustainability, using her art to promote awareness and drive positive change.
