SDG 5: Gender Equality

Hanay Alomar, a civil engineering student at the American University of the Middle East (AUM), combines technical knowledge with a deep passion for creativity. Recognized early with the 2nd place award in the Shaikha Suad AlSabah Creative Gulf Child Prize (2013), Hanay continues to blend art and innovation. A French school graduate, they embrace multicultural perspectives that shape their academic and artistic path. Beyond engineering, Hanay earned a certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Berkeley and completed a leadership mentorship with the Kuwait Society of Engineers. Viewing art as a language of ideas and emotions, Hanay aligns their work with the SDGs, focusing on sustainability, equality, and innovation.
