SDG 6 : Clean Water and Sanitation

Manjunath, born on 22nd September 1985 in Huvin Hipparagi, Vijayapura, Karnataka, is a talented Indian artist specializing in painting. He earned his Master of Fine Arts from Vijaya Fine Art College, Gadag, under Dharwad University. Moving to Bangalore in 2002 to pursue his artistic career, Manjunath quickly gained recognition in the art community. His first major showcase was at the 7th Karnataka Kala Mela, followed by participation in the prestigious 59th National Exhibition of Art. Notably, his work was among 490 artworks selected from 71 countries for the International Watercolour Society Biennale in New Delhi.

His paintings have been exhibited internationally in Japan, the UK, Singapore, and Dubai. Manjunath has received several accolades, including the Camlin Award, Lokamanya Tilak National Award, Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy Award, and the Shenoy Art Foundation Emerging Artist Award. He has participated in numerous national exhibitions and art camps, and currently works as an art teacher in Bangalore.
