Abeer is inspired by her attraction to her home country’s culture, its customs, happiness and suffering. Her experiences translate into her inspirational and creative artworks.

Through her SDG 5 painting she hopes to empower women and girls from different countries and cultures with a message of strength because they all deserve recognition. The symbol of strength and determination in the front figures is evocative of the iconic World War II poster “Rosie the Riveter”.
